Over the weekend, my hotel stay in Anaheim included scores of Disney-destined families with their amped up, Mickey Mouse-ears-wearing young ones.Elevator_buttons_(2552583462)
While I love the tykes, and I’m all for indulging them, I wasn’t pleased when a lady and her daughter got off the elevator at the third floor. “Let someone else blow your horn and the sound travels twice as fast.” — Joe Maddon in response to negative critiques of the “Try Not to Suck” t-shirts he came up with for his Cubs.

Finally, if you’re looking for something to read, try When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. Many things I’m curious about were addressed in his book, which is beautifully written, poignant, uplifting, and sad all rolled into one. What a talented writer.
