TOYS AND GAMES: No Work … “Can’t You See” … Pimento Cheese Sandwiches

In the Associated Press story I read, I did not see an explanation for why my hero did not go to his job at a water utility owned by the city of Cadiz. Nor did I read an explanation for why he continued to receive his paycheck.
Two thoughts: Thank goodness for direct deposit. And, I wonder what his supervisor had to say about this.
A couple of weeks back I asked what song or songs will make you remain in your car to hear the end. Yesterday, Marshall Tucker’s “Can’t You See” kept me glued to the car seat long after I arrived home.
