Wrong Verb

Jack Nicholson turned 78 on Wednesday bringing to mind visions of Easy Rider, Chinatown, The Last Detail, The Bucket List, and countless memorable roles. From what I’ve read and heard about the famed actor, he is the consummate professional, which makes his screen work even more impressive.

Apparently off the screen he has always had quite the personality, too. My favorite story may or may not have happened, either way, it’s funny. A young lady was said to have approached him at a party and asked him if he wanted to dance. To wit, Nicholson replied: “Wrong verb.”

I Feel Your Pain

Few things in life are as frustrating as computer problems, so I had to laugh at how a Colorado man solved his.

According to Colorado Spring Police, Lucas Hinch’s frustration turned postal when he snapped off eight shots into his computer. Hinch got charged with shooting a gun within the city limits while his computer never upset him again.

Greater than The Greatest?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been adamant that he’s a better fighter than Muhammad Ali. My first thought: I should hope so since Ali is now 73.

Mayweather noted that Ali called himself “The Greatest” and that he trumphed that by being “TBE” — short for The Best Ever.

Mayweather does have a 47-0 record. But who really knows. One thing is for sure, Ali would be saying the same thing if he were in Mayweather’s shoes. That’s just the way The Greatest rolled.
